For Your Clients
Your clients are the lifeblood of your institution, organization or centre. For many of these clients, your services fit into a larger context of life changes that they are experiencing every day. Personal life coaching can provide a framework for understanding these life changes and for building a life they truly love through the achievement of identified goals. Coaching can also help them establish the role your services play within these changes. Whether your client is an individual having to adapt to a physical handicap and the life/work/home modifications he or she will have to make … or a corporate client looking for resiliency training for employees in stressful roles such as call centre agents … or a student trying to decipher the complex world of career choice … coaching can help them view these situations positively, as an opportunity to create a great future, and can provide them with tools that can be used throughout their lives to ensure on-going success.
The basic coaching program for an individual client is Life Planning. This program encompasses many sub-programs and can be used as a framework for subsequent programs. Other coaching programs for individual clients can be categorized based on the elements of their life: programs for the Self, programs for Work and programs for the Home. And finally, the Sounding Board program is a general-purpose coaching relationship that allows an individual client to work with a coach on a regular basis resolving day-to-day issues. This program is often used as a precursor to other more formal programs or as a continuance of the coaching relationship at the conclusion of a program.

Programs for the corporate client are similar to those for individual clients, however, these can be adapted to meet the uniform standards of your corporate clients. In particular, clients searching for programs to enhance their Human Resources capabilities or employee assistance programs can easily incorporate existing or adapted coaching programs into the services offered to their employees.
Programs can be customized or adapted to meet your needs, and new programs continue to be developed as clients bring new requests to the table. The key element of any coaching program is the client’s investment in themselves. Supporting your clients and believing that coaching will help them achieve their goals will go a long way towards helping them make that investment.
